Moodle Mania
Have you Moodled lately? Chances are that you may be one of the millions of people worldwide who is exercising their noodle using Moodle. Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, known by its buddies simply as Moodle, is a free E-Learning or computer-enhanced platform that allows educators to create and manage online courses. Its applications allow for rich user interactions in forums, quizzes, blogs, wikis and surveys just to name a few. Of particular interest to my own teaching is Moodle's ability to facilitate collaborative reflective thinking activities in blogs.

I love the hook titles you used in your summary for the comments. I will definitely be referring back to your blog, as I hope to incorporate this technology into my classroom in the future.
Kristin,
Great use of wording to pull your reader in. I'd like to use Moodle in my classroom as well. The first thing I'm going to do when I get back down to Grand Rapids is ask my school's tech person to install Moodle for our school. I hope to take CEP 891 this fall and set up online material for my students.

Kristin,
You have some very fascinating thoughts on your blog. I really liked your Moodle review. I remember watching some presentations last year and not really understanding why such a program could be helpful. But after learning more this year and reading your review, I'm very curious about the potential. I am still a bit concerned about student making appropriate comments, but I am also interested in the idea that students will have to listen to each other. It is always very hard to get high school students to actually hear what each other has to say, consider it, and then respond appropriatly. I am starting to think Moodle can help.
Thanks for the great review,
Zac
This shows that you are leading with technology over on the East Side. I like how you broke up your review into different blogs. I don't even think we have it on our servere at WJH. Nicely done!

Love the titles. This will be a very helpful blog. If you have more ideas please post them. I hopefully will be using Moodle this fall. This may even be something I can show to our tech committee to help them understand Moodle better. Great job.
